About Me
Hi I am Matt. I am a web developer from Chicago who moved to Houston to learn web development
with DigitalCrafts. After high school I started working in the service industry with Legends
consessions as a courtyard supervisor. I then moved to Houston and started working as a bar
tender at a bar called Kenneally's. In High School I started to learn development, and loved it.
I decided at one point it was a career I wanted to pursue so I joined DigitalCrafts. With
DigitalCrafts I learned many skills and developed multiple projects that you can see in the
projects tab.
Projects

Generic React Clothing Store
The Generic React Clothing Store is a website I made in order to show off my knowledge of
react and redux. The pages show a good understanding of components and the redux store.
Journey is a fun exercise tracker that helps you count your calories in order to track your expected weight loss.
This project focused mainly on back-end development in which I worked a lot on sequelize.
Level++ is a website, worked on by 3 other people and me, that allows users either paired or solo to practice
different web development problems as a learning tool.
Python RPG is a terminal game created using python. This was the first real project I had with
DigitalCrafts, so it holds a special place in my heart. This project showcases loops and conditional
statements and an understanding of object-oriented programming.
